KPE To Provide Feed Package For Distillate Hydrotreater Revamp Project

KP Engineering will provide front-end engineering design (FEED) services for a Naphtha Hydrotreater Revamp Project for a Mid-continent refiner. The FEED package will identify needed improvements to the hydrotreating unit to facilitate a 50% increase in capacity. The modifications are prompted by the Owner’s desire to increase the refinery crude charge rate, process a lighter crude slate, and provide hydrotreating capability for other light distillate streams. The engineering work is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2016.
