KP Engineering Provides Process Consulting Services To Mid-Continent Refiner

KP Engineering provided process consulting services to a Mid-Continent Refiner. The refiner was experiencing problems with the wash oil section on their Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU). KPE refinery process experts provided several recommendations for wash oil system improvement. KPE’s recommendations included specific guidance in regard to packing, distribution nozzles, wash oil control devices and instrumentation, and other process related issues.
