HollyFrontier Awards Renewable Diesel EPCm Contract to KP Engineering

Tyler, Texas– 3.17.2020 – KP Engineering (“KPE”), an industry leader in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions, has been awarded an EPCm contract by Artesia Renewable Diesel Company LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of HollyFrontier Corporation (NYSE: HFC) to provide engineering, procurement services and construction management (EPCm) for the on-site portion of a new Renewable Diesel production facility to be located at HollyFrontier’s Artesia, New Mexico refinery.

The new Renewable Diesel Unit will produce 9,000 barrels/day of renewable diesel, produced completely from sustainable vegetable oils. The on-site portion of the plant is based on HydroFlex™ technology provided by Haldor Topsoe.

The RDU is scheduled to be in operation in the first quarter of 2022.
