Syngas Separation Unit

An American worldwide industrial gas company solicited KP Engineering’s help for the development and execution of a Syngas Separation Unit (SSU) in Southeastern Louisiana to provide 44 MMSCFD of Hydrogen (H2) and 17 MMSFCD of Carbon Monoxide (CO). The project is a key component of the client’s strategy to continue providing a reliable and efficient source of industrial gases within the region.

The client wanted to capitalize on KP Engineering’s vast experience and expertise in the design and installation of SMR Hydrogen Plants with PSA purification, HYCO Plants, and Syngas Plants.

KP Engineering’s full scope for the project included detailed engineering and design, procurement, and construction (EPC).
