When a southwest refiner needed a Hydrocracking unit for their refinery, they turned to KPE to get the job done.
KPE utilized a licensed third party process to design and construct a 15,000 barrels per stream day (BPSD) Hydrocracker with expansion capability to 30,000 BPSD. KPE took the basic information package from the Licensor and prepared a complete FEED package for the project.
The KPE project manager and experienced project team executed the FEED package preparation effectively and efficiently. The KPE project team members transitioned from the FEED to the EPC phase allowing for stronger project continuity in between phases, and ultimately completing the EPC project on time and under budget.
